2025 FIFA Club World Cup - List of Selected Officials

FIFA has appointed 117 match officials for the expanded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup™, taking place in the USA from June 14 to July 13. The lineup includes 35 referees, 58 assistant referees, and 24 video match officials from 41 countries.

Notable names include Anthony Taylor (England), Alireza Faghani (Australia), Wilton Sampaio (Brazil), and Mustapha Ghorbal (Algeria). USA referee Tori Penso and assistants Brooke Mayo and Kathryn Nesbitt are also selected. Spain, however, will only be represented in the VAR booth.

This year’s tournament will introduce Ref Cams-body-worn cameras on referees for enhanced transparency, and a new anti-time-wasting rule: goalkeepers holding the ball for more than eight seconds will concede a corner kick.

With a global mix of top officials and new innovations, FIFA is setting the stage for a landmark tournament in 2025
