About us and these terms
These terms apply to everything you buy at referee-equipment.com. By placing an order, you agree to them.

These terms are for people buying for themselves. Business and trade orders may be on separate terms.
Ordering and payment
Prices are in pounds and include VAT. Delivery is added at checkout. Our contract with you starts when we email to say your order has been dispatched.
If we can't fulfil your order, for example because an item has sold out, there's an obvious pricing error or we can't verify your payment, we'll let you know and refund you in full.
Please check sizes, badges and your delivery address before you order.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders are dispatched in the period shown on the product page. If there's a delay, we'll keep you posted. You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it's dispatched.
Badging and personalised kit
Badged and personalised items are made to your order, so they can't be returned if you change your mind. Please double-check the size, badge and any initials before ordering. This doesn't affect your rights if an item is faulty or we've made a mistake.

Orders sent outside the UK may pick up customs charges, which are paid by whoever receives the parcel.
Changed your mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to tell us you want to return something, no reason needed. December orders can be returned until 31 January.
Email support@referee-equipment.com with your name and order number, and we'll send you the returns address. The item needs to reach us within 30 days of delivery. Return postage is down to you, unless it's faulty or we sent the wrong thing.
Refunds go to your original payment method. If an item comes back worn or damaged, we may reduce the refund to reflect that, in some cases by up to the full price.
You can't return badged or personalised items, or whistles and other hygiene-sealed items once opened, just because you've changed your mind.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
Everything we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. That's your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing here changes it. Colours can look slightly different on screen, but if an item is noticeably different from its description, you're covered.
If something's faulty, damaged or wrong, email us with your order number and a photo. Telling us within 3 days helps us sort transit problems with the courier, but it doesn't limit your rights. We cover the postage on faulty and wrong items.
Gift cards and discount codes
Gift cards can only be spent at referee-equipment.com, can't be exchanged for cash, and usually expire after 5 years. You can cancel an unused gift card within 14 days of buying it. Discount codes are one per order unless the offer says otherwise, and can't be added after you've ordered.
Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by us breaking these terms or being careless, but not for business losses or things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including your statutory rights.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use your local courts. We may update these terms. The version on our website when you ordered is the one that applies.
