Since 1985, A&H has kitted out referees from their first park game right up to the Premier League. Four decades on, we're still run by referees, for referees.
Started by a referee
Former Premier League referee Paul Alcock set up A&H International, and it's been the trusted name in referee kit and equipment ever since.
Jeff and Fiona take the whistle
Jeff Pettitt and his wife, Fiona, buy A&H International from Paul. Jeff goes on to become a Premier League assistant referee, set up the Charlton Referee Academy and the London FA Mastermind Referee Group, and create Touchline PowerFlags, now used worldwide. Along the way, he's overseen the development of numerous match officials.
Touchline PowerFlags arrive
Jeff's Touchline PowerFlags launch, and go on to become the go-to choice in the English Premier League, the English Football League and the Australian A-League.
Still run by referees
In 2023, Jamie Robinson and Matt Malton bought the business. They're both National Group officials who spend their weekends in the middle and on the line, so if it goes in your kit bag, they've used it themselves.

We're an official UK supplier of Fox 40 whistles and the home of Touchline flags. The same kit you'll see on a Saturday afternoon in the EFL is the kit we'll send to your door.
Backing referees at every level
Refereeing only works if new refs stick with it. Through our partnerships with County FAs, we provide course starter packs, equipment and resources to help match officials get going and keep progressing.

Jamie Robinson
Co-owner
Jamie started refereeing at 14, reached the Northern Ireland Premiership by 22 and joined the FIFA international list at 25. For the 2026/27 season he's moved to the National Group in England, officiating across the EFL, National League Premier, PL2, FA Cup, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy.
