Meet the REF HUB: Everything we do that isn’t kit

You might have spotted a new tab in our menu: REF HUB. Hover over it (or give it a tap on your phone) and you'll find everything we do that isn't selling you a whistle. Free development sessions, the Sunday quiz, help for new refs, and the quickest ways to get hold of us.

Here's the grand tour. Pop the kettle on.

The REF HUB page

The front door. One page with the lot on it, plus the latest from the blog. If you only bookmark one thing on our site that isn't a basket, make it this.

Established 1985

Our Story

The original referee shop. Started in 1985 by former Premier League referee Paul Alcock, and still run by referees today. Meet the owners and get the story behind the shop.

Partners

The County FAs we're proud to work with: Essex, Kent, Lancashire, London, Manchester, Northamptonshire, Northumberland, Royal Navy and West Riding. Find yours and see the range.

Can't see yours? No bother. You can add any County FA badge to our match kit, training kit and bags & cases. And if you're a County FA, league or referee society that fancies teaming up, we'd love a proper chat.

New to refereeing?

Help & Support

Nobody expects you to have it all sorted after one course. This page points you to your support squad:

  • Your County FA Referee Development Officer for getting games, next steps and anything official.
  • The A&H Referee Community & Support Hub, our Facebook group, for advice from refs who've been there. Daft questions very welcome.
  • The Referees' Association, run by referees for referees, to plug into the wider refereeing family.

There's a first game checklist on there too, for when you're still packing the bag on Saturday night.

Question about an order, a size or which watch to go for? Send us a message and we'll get back to you within 24 hours, or email support@referee-equipment.com. We're referees too, so whatever it is, we've probably been there.

Why bother?

Because refereeing's a lot more fun when you're not doing it on your own. We've been kitting out referees since 1985 and we're still run by refs, so we know a good bit of advice on a Tuesday night can matter just as much as a decent pair of boots on a Sunday morning.

The REF HUB is where we keep all of that. It's free, it's for every level, and it'll keep growing. Go and have a look around.
